Here’s a clip from Dateline NBC’s To Catch A Predator series. What stands out about this segment to me is the decoy’s terribly bad acting. The predator must have suspected something was up just by the way that decoy was talking. That’s probably why he tries to leave after being there only a minute or so.
But if he was trying to leave because he was uncomfortable about the boy’s age, shouldn’t that work for his favor when he goes to trial for this? After all, he did say he wanted to leave. Notice how when he does say that, though, Chris Hansen comes right out to make sure he nails him before he gets a chance to bail out.

It might be a good thing in the sense that they’re protecting children, but the people conducting those stings kind of have suspicious and ulterior motives.
And with all that money, they couldn’t hire a better actor??
It’s really awful on both ends: There are those horrible creepy predators out there AND there are those people willing to do something about it but at the price of exploiting a very serious issue and problem.

The poster of this video is right in saying that its suspicious and interesting how hansen walks in as SOON as he says “i’m uncomfortable with your age”, PLUS it’s also weird how they put subtitles for what they were saying EXCEPT that particular line. It’s also obvious that for ratings’ sake, he wanted the guy to get naked in the hottub so they can have a “naked bust”, because when you think of it, even according to them, they could already arrest him…so why the hottub bit?
